Novel Coronavirus, which has caused worldwide destruction, has spread its havoc in India too. Until thursday afternoon, the number of people suffering from this epidemic in the country has crossed the 600 mark. Meanwhile, to prevent this epidemic from spreading further in India, the Indian government has declared 21 days lockdown. Due to the lockdown, the people are imprisoned in the houses and daily wage earners are worried. There was a constant demand for an economic package from the opposition. Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry came out and announced a relief package of Rs 1.70 lakh crore to fight against Covid-19. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made big announcements such as Rs. 500 to women Jan Dhan account holders, free gas cylinders to Ujjwala beneficiaries, extra financial assistance to senior citizens and widows, help in EPF of employees. But the only thing common among them was that everything has been prepared and announced for 3 months. Therefore, these announcements for 3 months strengthen the possibility of more than 21 days lockdown.
