Covid-19: CBSE postponed 10th & 12th Board Examinations till 31st March. New Delhi: The Ministry of Human Resource Development ordered the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) to postpone the remaining 10th & 12th examinations till 31st March due to Coronavirus outbreak in India. MHRD ministry also directed UGC, AICTE, NTA, NIOS, NCTE and all autonomous organisations under it to postpone all examinations till 31st March, 2020. “While maintenance of academic calendar and exam schedule is important, equally important is safety and security of students who are appearing in various examinations as also of their teachers and parents,” said HRD secretary Amit Khare.
Keeping in view the health concerns of students, Hon’ble HRD minister @DrRPNishank has directed CBSE and NIOS to postpone exams and evaluation till 31st March 2020.
He has request all students and parents to follow the health advisory issued by @MoHFW_INDIA.#cbseboardexam2020

Whereas the CISCE board has said that its ICSE and ISC exams will be as per schedule. By seeing the danger of Covid-19 and for precautionary measures the ministry decided to reschedule examinations. All the evaluation work for CBSE and NIOS and University exams also rescheduled after 31tst March. Coronavirus is spreading very quick in India and till now 150+ positive cases registered.
