Recent travel bans imposed on South Africa and neighboring countries as a result of the discovery of the omicron variant in southern Africa have hammered the country’s safari business, already hard hit by the pandemic.
The findings of a recent survey conducted by IPK International show a renewed increase in people’s travel intentions. Currently, 80 per cent of respondents worldwide are planning international trips over the next 12 months.
