National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met today with President Sauli Niinistö of Finland. Mr. Sullivan reiterated the United States’ strong support for Finland and Sweden joining NATO as soon as possible, which will further strengthen the Alliance. Mr. Sullivan and President Niinistö discussed the security situation in Europe, including their commitment to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression.
