Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) officially issued the C919 aircraft type certificate of conformity to COMAC. The first passenger aircraft will be delivered to the first operator by the end of this year if the plan proceeds. C919 airliner is China’s self-developed, and has independent intellectual property rights in the short and medium-range commercial mainline twin-engine jet large passenger aircraft. It is understood that 60% of the airliner’s components are made locally in China, and currently has 28 customers and a total of 815 orders, with a total order amount of more than 500 billion yuan.
