Plans to deport asylum seekers arriving in the UK to Rwanda are lawful, the country’s High Court has ruled.
In April, the Home Office announced plans to send some asylum seekers to the African country on a one-way ticket, to claim asylum there.
The government says the measures would reduce numbers crossing the English Channel, but critics question Rwanda’s human rights record.
A decision on whether to allow an appeal on the ruling has been adjourned until next year.
