Deputy Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk spoke yesterday with Prime Minister Najla Bouden of Tunisia to discuss the U.S.-Tunisia relationship and the longstanding, close historical ties between the American and Tunisian peoples. Mr. McGurk and Prime Minister Bouden reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral diplomatic engagement, including by supporting the work of the diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis and the Tunisian Embassy in Washington.
